This was my first time shooting in Oceanside, CA. A city with plenty of beautiful places to take photos. Roylene & her son had the luxury of having their photo session done in their backyard, literally. When I saw it, I loved it!! Not to mention, Roy is super photogenic and her son is adorable as well, so it was the perfect recipe for some awesome photos!! This will definitely not be the last time I head out to the OC to do a photo shoot! Here are some of my favorites from their session.

So how fitting is it that Mother's Day is right around the corner and I am posting a photo session of an amazing woman who is a working student with not 1 but 2 jobs, & also finds the time to be a full-time mommy?!! A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to spend the afternoon capturing Daisy and her handsome son, Moni. I could see how close they were and couldnt help but feel the mother-son love that the two of them shared. It was awesome. I admire Daisy and thought it was hard enough being a full-time photographer and going to school. I had it all wrong. This woman can do it ALL. Without further ado, here are some photos from their session...

Our morning started with some hair & make-up by the lovely Ursla Malae & Victoria Mao. It was all for Daisy's birthday, so she went all out!

Shortly after, we headed to our location & realized the sun was beaming!!! It was hot and a little much for Moni. I bet you can't tell by his facial reaction here...lol.
