The Fabulous 5
And here they are, the FABULOUS 5! All of these beauties are related to me. On the very last pic from L-R they are: Brittany Oneill, Rayven Ma'alona, Nadine Fa'alogoifo, Lauren Pe'a and Jessica Brunt. All of them individually are beautiful and unique in their own ways. They have grown so much and have great potential to take on anything that comes their way. Thanks for making this shoot a great experience ladies! Love you guys =]
Sneak peak: Weekend with the Fab 5
It was definitely a busy, but also relaxing weekend for me. I don't know if that's even possible, but I was able to take out my cam for the first time. Very exciting!! I rounded up 4 of my little cousins along with my sister and went shooting in L.A. I am still getting familiar with it and learning so many things. Here's one pic that I shot of my younger sister Jessica. She just graduated from high school this past year, and would like to become a hair stylist/make-up artist. I am all for it and hopes that she does it soon because I would love to have her on my team! She's awesome! Love you Jess.
Yayyyy!!
Check back soon ;)
Girls just wanna have fun!
Newborn: Our Little Matai, Baby Kairin
This was my first Newborn photo shoot and it was of my one and only nephew. I did the set up at my house in my room because i get decent natural light from my window. The baby is still so young and we wanted him to be relaxed, so we brought in a portable heater and turned it up. I was HOT!! The baby was comfy though and did really well. We had to take a couple breaks in between, but we were really happy with the end results (considering the camera is older than me and is NOT digital). Film is very unforgiving and you always hope for the best shots. The most rewarding thing about it is the drive to the photo lab and the excitement you feel when you look at all your shots for the first time. The last photo you see was taken with my camera phone, I wanted to post it as well to give an idea of what colors we were working with.
So here is to our new little chief, baby Kai.
Mommy-to-be: Ms. Reiko
I took a photography class last semester and all we used was black & white film. We were required to take all of our pics manually and then process them ourselves in the darkroom. The pics that you see have not been digitally edited and are taken straight from negatives. The camera that I was using is older than me (lol), but I think the pics came out okay. I needed to finish a roll of film, so I decided to take pics of the lovely mommy-to-be a couple days before she gave birth to my handsome nephew. I love this girl, she and my nephew are such a great addition to our family.
