Last month I had the privilege of shooting Nani & Sione's engagement session. I had a great time with these two. They were humble, down to earth and just great people to be around. The bride-to-be chose the location which I immediately fell in love with. If you've been following my blog, then you know that anywhere near downtown L.A. is one of my favorite places to shoot! Anywho, these two will be tying the know next month in Sacramento. I am so happy for them and wish them nothing but the best!

As I have mentioned briefly in previous posts, I recently got married last May (not sure if that's still considered recent?). During that busy time of wedding preparations, I was still doing what I love and that is taking photos. I love of all of my clients and feel each of their sessions are equally special and unique, so although I'm a bit late (ok, Samoan time.lol) sharing their photos with the online world, I will still be featuring them on the bloggity blog :) .

Sam and Brooklyn met through mutual friends in their early 20's and have stayed attached ever since. Fast forward 16 years later and they finally made the decision to tie the knot. Capturing a couple's love unfold in front of my camera is always magical, but to also be able to document a bride-to-be who is expecting their firstborn child was even more special. They decided to take their engagement pictures at one of their favorite places to hang out which was Downtown Seal Beach. Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session.

It wasn't too long ago when I first saw my engagement pictures. Even after I purchased my wedding dress, it didn't feel as official until I saw my engagement photos. That's when it all hit me that I was actually getting married. I'm guessing that is exactly what Sharmaine will be feeling when she sees her engagement photos for the first time. I love the colors that Tui and Sharmaine chose to wear to their engagement session and especially the location that they both decided on. I can only imagine what their wedding is going to be like. I am confident that everything will turn out beautifully!! Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session at the South Coast Botanic Garden in Palos Verdes. While I was editing Teuila & Joseph's engagement pictures, I could NOT wait to share them with the online world!! lol. I loved the location that they chose and the coral that Teuila wore!! Oh heck, I loved everything about the shoot. Even though it was their first time in front of the camera together, they were so natural and had fun during the session. It is evident in their photos. Congrats on your engagement you two! I can't wait until your big day, it's going to be beautiful!!
